I had a related problem a couple years ago, and though it may not be the 
same problem you are seeing here, it was a problem with my web server 
(Roxen) truncating the returned output from the CGI which made any 
future page processing screwed up.  I found that I had to limit the 
pages to about 20 items, the details were brief.
