[ic] Questions about IC

I have been working on converting our web shop over to IC 4.8 with
foundation catalog as the basis for about 6 months - since I too run the
business with an exisiting working website, about 6000 items, and 600 web
pages on the current server.

I have spent alot of my time learing Linux, and not able to work on the
catalog but (2-3 hours a day if I am lucky) - pretty time consuming, but IC
will do everything I need plus a whole lot more.

1 - after you have your database populated simply set all inventory to some
high value once a week (10,000 in stock,or whatever), by whatever method you
like to access the database, I am using MYSQL, so you could write a php
script to do this, or since I am familiar with MS .asp I am writing routines
on a MS server to modify the database.

2 - IC sends the order via encypted email, and the default (foundation) is
to manually process the order, so this is already handled.

good luck,
Steve
