[ic] Ordering a lot of items need to much times.

Hi list,

I've a costumer, who offer a low-price items and his own costumers buy
always a lot of different items. I get the basket after 10 seconds, if
I've ordered 50 items. If I've ordered 100 items, basket is displaying
after 60 seconds. If I order more and more items, basket need more an
more times to displaying all the items.

How can I improve the speed? The basket is showing subtotal, shipping
and total!

Any tips, helps and suggestions are very welcome.
