Apparently it has bitten several of us now (me included).  The problem was 
brought on for me by one of the Red Hat updates (I don't know which one), 
and I didn't bother troubleshooting the problem, since upgrading to Pgsql 
7.2.1 and installing Bundle::Interchange fixed it for me.  But I have a 
sneaking suspicion that DBD::Pg was really the cause of the problem; 
perhaps rebuilding that will help.
