I am working with the latest release of Interchange on a FreeBSD 4.5-RELEASE
machine. Basically, I need some help with one little problem( ;-) )...
*****
We're sorry, the Interchange server is unavailable...
We are out of service or may be experiencing high system demand. Please try
again soon.
*****
This is the error message I receive when I try to connect to the server. A
little background...I have searched the archives and tried all the suggestions.

I cannot install Interchange as my Interchange user. I install as root and
change both the ownership and group memberships to my Intechange user. -----
no workie...

I chmod u+s on the cgi program. ----- no workie...

I verify that my Interchange user owns and has group membership to the
catalogs. ----- no workie...

I have just run through the makecat program and accepted most of the defaults
for the "foundation" catalog. ----- no workie...

(I sense a pattern developing...)

Can anyone recommend anything else to try? My default vlink size is 28332.

My error.log states:
- - - [08/June/2002:22:46:08 +0000] - - Low traffic settings.
