[ic] HELP - totally exasperated in FW

I have loaded three different versions of linux currently using 7.2.  I have
installed/uninstalled Interchange numerous times each time with the same
result   The interchange server starts and now how does the demo start.  I
bought all of the manuals $150.00 and they do not tell how to start the demo
or anything else.  I noticed that other people were having the same problem.
Any tidbit of info would be helpful.
