I'm not sure that I totally understand your question, but I have done one 
catalog which used a flash menubar, and I found that to get it to work for 
Internet Explorer 5.x I had to use a fully qualified URL for the embed 
source (i.e.: http://www.domain.com/path/to/flash_file). Relative paths 
worked ok for Netscape but not for IE. Strange.
