[ic] auto create user account?

Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to automatically create an account
for a user when they checked out.  Their email address would be their
username and a password would be automatically generated for them.

What would be the best way to accomplish this?  Should this be part of the
order route since I can't use the [userdb save] that one would normally use
in the checkout page (since there is no user yet).

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
