I changed the catalog.cfg as you suggested to

Replace ProductFiles products_pc
Database            products_pc     products_pc.txt       TAB
Database            products_pc     HOT               1
Database            products_pc     INDEX             category:c

but IC is still looking for the default products database.
I obtain the following error message:

table 'products' failed: Can't stat
'/var/lib/interchange/foundation/products/products.txt': No such file or
directory
foundation config error: products not a database, cannot use as products
file
