[ic] why merchandising components appear when not selected??????

Hi List,

Why are the merchandising components like Specials, Also see, specials are
being displayed in the pages, though I am selecting "No Component" in the
Templates (in All templates - leftonly, leftright and noleft). Except
SearchBox and VerticalCategory List, I am not selecting any component but
still they are appearing. Can any one throw some light why????
