[ic] How to modify existing search to display additional results

Right now i have search result for make/model/and year
together.  I would like to modify the search so when
customers search using make/model/year (eg.
Toyota/Supra/97) they will get a listing of all
products that match Toyota/Supra/97 
AND a list of all the universal products, instead of
just product that match Toyota/Supra/97. (universal
products have a value of "universal" under make,
model, and year fields)
