I have a client who wants to only ship products via Priority Mail and
also give the buyer the option to purchase insurance. USPS calcualates
insurance on a scale based on the amount of the purchase.

Here's the scale the post office uses:

$0.01  - $50.00    $1.30
$50.01 - $100.00   $2.20
$100.01 - $200.00   $3.20
$200.01 - $300.00   $4.20
$300.01 - $400.00   $5.20
$400.01 - $500.00   $6.20
$500.01 - $600.00   $7.20
$600.01 - $700.00   $8.20
$700.01 - $800.00   $9.20
$800.01 - $900.00   $10.20
$900.01 - $1000.00   $11.20

I have the UPS style lookup to determine the correct Priority Mail
postage based on zip codes and weight and it's working fine. I've
looked all over the mailing lists, the documentation and FAQ's. There's
very little mentioned about insurance.

Here's my Priority Mail shipping.asc:

Priority<tab>Priority Mail<tab>weight<tab>0<tab>0<tab>e Nothing to
ship!<tab><tab>{'ui_ship_type' => "UPSI",'table' => "Priority",'zone' =>
"836",'ups' => "1",'adder' => "3",'geo' => "zip",}
Priority<tab>Priority
Mail<tab>weight<tab>0<tab>70<tab>u<tab><tab>{'default_geo' =>
"83647",'ui_ship_type' => "UPSI",'zone' => "836",'table' =>
"Priority",'adder' => "3",'PriceDivide' => "1",'geo' => "zip",}

I've been going round and round on this and can't figure it out. Now
it's time to ask the experts.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sincerely,
