Hi Bob,

Are you running perl with threads enabled?

If you don't know what i am saying, you are. RH9 comes with perl 5.8 with
threads enabled and, to run interchange you must use perl with threads
disabled.

This question of disabling threads on perl 5.8 or installing a new version
of perl without threads was discussed several times on group.

Try searching on archives how to do that. You will find lots of answers
there.
