You must have missed this in your archive search:

You didn't say which Interchange version you were using, but I suspect
you're using 4.8.6.  If you don't feel comfortable applying the fix
shown in the referenced article then I suggest that you upgrade to
4.8.7 or, better still, the latest 4.9.8 daily snapshot.
