[ic] Limiting the search but checking if there are more items

Would like to see if its possible to show only a certain number of records 
from a search with a ml and check to see if there are more items to return.  
Basically, I want to show only first 3 results of a search with ml=3.  If 
there are more than 3 items returned, include a simple More... so users can 
click and see others.  However, if there are only 3 results or less, don't 
show the More... line...Thx
