[ic] php alternatives to interchange

Guys,

Just got a new client today for a web store and naturally wanted to use
interchange.  But for some unGodly reason the owner wants whatever
solution I provide to be done in PHP.

Is there anything out there written in PHP that even comes close to the
functionality, security and maturity of IC?
