The archives mentioned making a build of the necessary versions of software
in a chroot environment. I've tried but get errors when i do a copy from
the existing root FS because of the symbolic links being broken. I can't
find anything online explaining how to build a chroot with everything like
Perl, Interchange, etc... Is there a reccomended start point for finding
this?  I've been off *n?x for years now and evidently have become rusty;
Not that i used chroot then, but i am rusty in my research methods.

I'm trying to install on a fresh install of RH9.

Thanks -Jim
