I thought at first this might be a cleaver way to spam the list, but
a quick peek at his email address got me to the right place. ( I think ).

I've actually used that javascript menu system before with IC and it works
ok.

This first thing I thing I'd look at is this chuck:
<IMG
SRC="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/serve?bfmid=26917872&siteid=40407445&bfp
age=summer" BORDER="0" WIDTH="1" HEIGHT="1" NOSAVE >
<A
HREF="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26917872&siteid=40407445&bf
page=summer" TARGET="_top"><IMG
SRC="http://media.expedia.com/media/content/expus/associates/ads/ExpSummer_2
30x33.gif " BORDER="0" WIDTH="230" HEIGHT="33" ALT=""></A>

These image hit counters and adverts relying on another server
would be a good place to start. Remove that and see if things
improve.

More info on version, OS, DB type etc. would also be helpfull.
