[ic] Route log failed.

Hello,

I am running interchange 4.8.6.  Without MV_PAYMENT_MODE set to any payment
mode, the whole checkout process works as it should, and the transaction gets
logged into the database.  The moment I have MV_PAYMENT_MODE set to itransact,
or skipjack, or anything else, I get the error below, and all processing stops,
the user is returned to the checkout page, with no error message.

Can anyone give me a suggestion as to how I might attempt to debug what is wrong
here?
