[ic] REPOST: 4.9.x Admin UI - Out of Memory

Sorry for the repost, but I never got a response to my first inquiry, so 
I'm submitting this again to see if I get any nibbles.

I am configured to use mysql.

Hi all.

When I upgraded from 4.8.7 to 4.9.6 everything works except for the Admin 
UI.  I could not even get to the login screen.  The catalog works fine, 
orders could be processed, etc.  But the Admin UI generates an Internal 
Server Error and the debug log shows out of memory.

I have gone back to 4.8.7 for the time being, because I really need the 
Admin interface.

This is the foundation template, btw.

If anyone has any ideas, input, complete solutions :-) , etc. I would 
greatly appreciate it.

I am on a Verio virtual server, if that's any help to anyone.
