I recently tried to get IC running on a SuSE 8.2 system and had to
re-install Perl from scratch. The version of perl shipped with SuSE 8.2
Pro is compiled with threads enabled, which IC doesn't like. In fact,
IC will refuse to start while giving a message about the threaded perl
problem.

Hello,

I also re-installed Perl and compiled it with option not-thread-enabled.
But still get a.m. error message.
