[ic] Bug in item editor regarding images?

I am having a similar problem as listed in the following post:

In situation I have added two additional image fields which work fine until
the item is edited. If either the thumb and/or image field is empty, on
save/update the value from either of the image_large field or the two new
fields will be moved into thumb field?

If all fields have data there does not seem to be any issues.

version 4.9.8, RH7.2, PostgreSQL 7.2

Has anyone else run into this problem?
