Dear Authorize.Net Shopping Cart Provider:
Authorize.Net has recently released several new payment gateway services
including support for the cardholder authentication programs Verified by
Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode and an exclusive Fraud Detection Suite to
help merchants identify and prevent fraudulent transactions. As a result,
there are a few additional data fields and values you will need to support
to provide these services to your merchants.
The fields are:
- x_authentication_indicator (Cardholder Authentication Programs, Verified
by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode)
- x_cardholder_authentication_value (Cardholder Authentication Programs,
Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode)
- x_cavv_response (response field) (Cardholder Authentication Programs,
Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode)
- x_customer_ip (Support for this field is currently required for Wells
Fargo SecureSource transactions, but is now required for all transactions
in conjunction with the Authorize.Net Fraud Detection Suite.)
- x_recurring_billing (This field is now required when x_echeck_type = WEB)
In addition, the following new values should be supported:
- Response reason codes 116-119 for Cardholder Authentication Programs,
Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode
- Response reason codes 250-254 for Fraud Detection Suite (FDS) settings
- For the x_bank_account_type field, BUSINESS CHECKING
- For the x_echeck_type field, CCD, PPD, TEL
For specific information about new field requirements, please see the
updated SCC AIM Implementation Guide at
http://www.authorizenet.com/support/AIM_guide_SCC.pdf.
Authorize.Net strongly encourages you to build support for these data
fields into your current or next product development cycle to maintain
compliance with your Authorize.Net Shopping Cart Certification (SCC). YOU
WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-CERTIFY YOUR SHOPPING CART BY MARCH 1, 2005 TO
VALIDATE SUPPORT FOR SCC REQUIREMENTS IMPLEMENTED BY AUTHORIZE.NET SINCE
YOUR INITIAL CERTIFICATION. More information regarding re-certification
will be coming soon. However, if you would like to get started, updated SCC
testing criteria is available at
http://www.authorizenet.com/support/SCC_Criteria.pdf
Note: The certification process now requires you to submit
PRIOR_AUTH_CAPTURE test transactions (to capture funds for a previously
authorized transaction).
For questions regarding this e-mail or the SCC Program, please contact
Authorize.Net's Integration Department at certify at authorize.net.
Sincerely,
Authorize.Net
