[ic] Individual user inventories?

Hi list,

this has me well and truly stumped, and i'd be greatfull for any pointers
whatsoever...

I'm trying to find a  way to have  multiple inventories dependent on the
logged in
user.
Example:

Each user accesses the same products.txt  (promotional giveaway's) 
which are limited in number per user.

ie. 
user1 can give away 20xsku1, 30xsku2 and
user2 can give away 10xsku1  10xsku2

The inventory routine is a must so that user1 can't give away a product once

he's *maxed* his available contingent.

I'm assuming that each user would need a seperate inventory to keep track of
orders 
and am wondering how to combine the userdb with corresponding (multiple?) 
inventories 
or if the inventory needs and if this is at all possible in IC ?

Any help whatsoever would be appreciated as i've kinda backed myself in to 
a wall on this one..
