[ic] Trying to get prodict by logged in user please help

Dear List,

I am trying to display a list of products from the product table where
prod_group = mv_username.
I have a link created for this in the catagory list on the left of the page
but it doesnt work.

I have the link configured as a complex search with the following
fi=products
st=db
co=1
sf=prod_group
se='[data session username]'
op=rm
nu=0
ml=50

the issue is that it takes the [data session username] as a literal string
to compare to.

Is there a way to make this work or a better approach?
