[ic] Shipping conformation

Do I need to do anything special to have interchange sent out conformation 
emails once I enter tracking number, etc in the admin interface?  Or even, 
is there such a feature?  If so, where do I find the conformation email 
text, etc?  Just need to get an understanding on what I can do to auto 
generate shipping conformation emails from the admin interface.
