[ic] error - Order profile credit_card not found

I am receiving the following error in the log when
entering any order:

/cgi-bin/cigs4free/shop/process Order profile
credit_card not found

This only started happening (apparently) after I had
modified the order.number file. The 

I googled the archives and found a post saying that
they cleared out the session and tmp directories,
restarted, and everything was fine.

Is this a long-term fix or will this issue continue to
occur when making changes to configuration files? Has
anyone else experienced this?
