[ic] Could not lock file: Interrupted system call ERROR

Hi,

Checked archives but have not understand solutions that authors
offered.

Problem: can't run many operations in UI (complex search creation,
page design and others). I am using virtual hosting with Perl 5.8.1,
Red Hat Linux, MySQL 4.0.20, Interchange 4.9.3-200211090658, Apache
1.3.31.

As it is virtual host, I can't downgrade Perl and install patches.
Anybody can explain what to do? Thanks.
