Hi, everyone...
I'm trying to use Ed LaFrance's [encrypt] tag as found in the archives
and at http://www.interchange.rtfm.info/downloads/usertags/index.html. I
have installed it as a global usertag on IC 5.3.1-200505030658 with a
5.2 based catalog. gpg is 1.2.6 on FC3. I know this is an old tag, but I
didn't find any better ideas...
When I execute the tag as such:
[encrypt]1234[/encrypt]
I get:
Encrypt failed:
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found. gpg: processing message failed: eof
I can see that the tag is using $Config->{EncryptProgram} which on my
system contains simply "gpg". Running "gpg" as my interchange user from
the command line seems to do the same thing.
So do I need to specify a command or is there a way to use the command
that already seems to work for normal orders? I'd hate to hard-code my
key names for maintenance sake. Or, is there a more up-to-date way to
arbitrarily encrypt data?
Thanks for your help!
JT
