Ah well.  It was worth a shot.  I can't see how the %ENV hash keys
and values were getting passed to Interchange.  I concluded that they
were not.  I know that the HTTPS variable is in %ENV, along with others.

I should try to find some time to set up Apache2 and Interchange::Link
on a test server at some point.
