Ok, here is what I did. I changed selinux file to disable. Then
restarted system. Then entered this to start mysql:
bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql &
Which seemed to work. Then restarted interchange and get this message:
[root at localhost usr]# su interch -c "PERL_SIGNALS=unsafe
/usr/sbin/interchange --restart"
Killing Interchange server 3659 with TERM.
Low traffic settings.
Calling UI......UI is loaded...
Interchange V5.5.0-200605230658
Running with old signals.
Configuring catalog store...Using MySQL,
DSN=dbi:mysql:test_store...done.
Configuring catalog store1...Using MySQL,
DSN=dbi:mysql:test_store1...done.
Configuring catalog waterdelights...Using MySQL,
DSN=dbi:mysql:test_waterdelights...done.
Interchange server started in UNIX mode(s) (process id 3706)
Although the web page to the cgi-bin/store/index.html loads much faster
now, it still gives the same message;
Interchange server unavailable.
Any suggestions?
