Folks,

We've recently fixed an issue for the owner of a site where a surprising number of users have been getting flagged as robots due to false positives on their UA string due to various little Toolbars putting in their advertising and matching one of the RobotUA patterns.

Previously, we've fixed these in a one-off fashion, adding exceptions to the NoRobotUA, however the fix we made today was to just add the "MSIE" and "Gecko" strings to the NoRobotUA list rather than trying to always play catchup when a new toolbar happens to match any of the RobotUA patterns.

Any discussion/objections to me just committing a patch along these lines to core IC?  In this case the rationale is that any IE browser (almost exclusively where we've seen the issue) will have the MSIE string, while Safari/Chrome/Firefox all have Gecko mentioned in the UA string.

Thoughts?
