[ic] 5.8 demo store

I was just testing new test store pj helped me get up and going and
noticed that menu does not seem to be there in admin. I logged in to the
online demo store and again, the menu does not seem to be generated from
the admin menu setup.

I am using 5.6 for my site, so my question is has the menu generation
been changed from 5.6 to 5.8?
