Just a quick note here.  Meta keywords are fairly pointless nowadays
because all major search engines that I'm aware of ignore them
completely.  You are best not using meta keywords at all.

As for the meta description, I'm pretty sure it is *only* used to
provide a description in search results, and not to help with keywords
or placement.
