I was having the DDoS issue a little over a month ago. The following is 
what the technician decided was to be done. I told them NO! but they did 
it anyhow!

 From robots.txt

Disallow: /home/.../.../cart.cgi
Disallow: cart.cgi
Disallow: /cart.cgi


Had to fix

# Disallow: /home/.../.../cart.cgi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   This 
stops all robots from crawling the entire site It is a STUPID thing to 
do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cart.cgi serves ALL pages
