I sent this message with the wrong subject before, sorry.


Is there any documentation available about how interchange does its 
initial processing for a requested page.

I am looking in particular as to where and what happens when ab initial 
page request is received.

For example when a first time user requests to see the main page.

Also, at what point does interchange place a cookie on the requester's 
computer.

I am looking for the best place to send the user a checkbox page and 
then place that IP address on hold until a response is received and a 
'valid' cookie is placed on the requester's device.

I had asked about this a while back, did receive some help but 
apparently, it needs to be improved to prevent a new form of DDos that 
send requests from fake IPs.

Any help would be appreciated.
