The catalog.cfg distributed with minivend has several examples of
Database config entries. Find the mysql one and modify for your
system.

Sounds like you are linking to the flypage. If your new table uses
the same column names as the "standard" products.asc, code, description,
price, weight you won't need to change a thing.

Connectivity all boils down to a correct Database config entry and
proper installation of DBI::DBD
Easiest way to see what is happening on the SQL side is to turn on
debugging for mysqld and watch the log file.
