Everyone should read this article: you're bound to laugh your ass off.
I really wonder what kind of companies were involved in this survey, because
the prices mentioned are even more than some medium/small businesses' total
annual profits.
They even state you should spend about 1-5 million bucks for a site with
good functionality (hahaha...).

For me both will go: for me this article helps, because I know that the
project I'm putting in allmost all my spare time, once it's finished, will
have been rediculously cheap and will have functionality I would never have
hoped for.
I'm definately doing this as a kind of test: can a guy like me create an
e-commerce site that will work so well, it 'll pay off well too ? Great
challenge, but allmost getting there...
