work in 3.1X versions? (not to be selfish but I really only care about
3.14!)

I presume I would place the entire cart code in basket.html inside this
filter?

On an aside, the online demo at minivend.com does not appear to have this
problem, I had fiigured it was a gdbm or whatever problem specific to my and
a few others boxes. Been spending hours researching modules and the like to
try and diagnose!
