I think you might be a big premature here -- I am an ISP and I don't
let one user run 5 copies of minivend for 5 different catalogs. MV uses
quite a bit of memory and there is no sense duplicating it 5 times.
Each catalog can have a separate URL and domain, no problem. I think
that was actually the question...I have administered MiniVend servers
which serve 100 different domains or more.
If you want to have each executable named the same, then you need
to use FullURL, but other than that, there should be no trouble. The
easiest way is just to have different script names.
MV4 also allows "virtual catalogs", i.e. you can use the same path
for any catalog with mv_cat=somename as a qualifier. This can be helpful
for load-balancing on several IP sockets, which can improve your MV
bandwidth considerably.
