[mv] what causes .gdbm to rebuild?

Hi,

What causes the products.asc.8 & products.gdbm to rebuild? I tried deleting
them and then restarting the minivend process and they were still not
built. Then I went and edited something in pages, restarted minivend, and
they were rebuilt, is there a command which does this?
