[mv] Search engine producing weird reults

Howdy all,
All of the sudden ( every here that one before) my search page started 
producing results that effected the shopping session from then out. What 
happens is the search result page is only showing the possible number that 
exist in the databse and not showing the reults. Then, all the other oneclick 
search links I have are all screwed up after that, like some kind of weird 
variable is being passed along....I am working on it now but am wondering if 
any one has come across this before.... I have rebooted the catalog, the 
server (minivend that is) re-loaded the product catalogs rebuilt glimpse tried a 
mv_search=text blah blah blah....

The only thing I can think of is that I have been doing alot of work with HTDIG 
on the server along with Mhonarc. I am running MV 3.12 Perl5.005_03
I have tried a real basic search as well. The result page works fine with 
catalog results but when the search results hit its all messed up as 
mentioned above....
