Hi minivenders,
As much as I enjoy this list, it doesn't seem to equal the helpfulness of real time discussion. In the past few days, I've been able to troubleshoot problems with icecast and php by speaking with users and developers directly via IRC. This was invaluable, especially since some of the issues I was discussing were somewhat urgent.
Don't get me wrong. I don't expect developers of minivend to hang out in an IRC channel answering newbie questions, but I expect that many here would agree with me that real time discussion is VERY useful.
With all the traffic this list generates, I'm sure many people would benefit from an IRC channel dedicated to minivend. I have created a channel called "minivend" on EFNET, where such discussions can take place. If needed, I can setup a dedicated IRC server on my co-located box, if EFNET doesn't cut it.
Please join me, so we can make this yet another avenue for minivend support.
