[mv] cookie problem

hi,

sorry for taking your time with such a simple problem. but i have a problem
with cookies. i use another server for ssl connection.

suppose my server is www.domain.com. it works well until i go to check out 
which is handled on such domain: falcon.safeservers.com, i see that basket is
empty. this must be a regular perl cookie problem.

so i set,

CookieDomain    .falcon.safeservers.com

this does not work. i am reading manual again and again. i just cannot
understand what variable to set. please help.

CookieDomain
Allows you to set a domain so that two servers can handle traffic. For example,
if you wanted to use server addresses of secure.yourdomain.com and
www.yourdomain.com then you could set it to: 
    CookieDomain    .yourdomain.com
More than one domain can be set. It must have at least two periods or browsers
will ignore it. 

i cannot understand what does that mean? do two periods in total? how can i add
such a domain.
