Re: [mv] cookie problem

****** message to minivend-users from "Gideon van Gelder" <gideon@swingmaster.nl> ******

Hi,

Try this:

CookieDomain falcon.safeservers.com www.domain.com

(two periods in total!)

BTW, I think IE or Netscape, one of the two at least,
doesn't accept the wild card .domain.com, but I might be
wrong, but this doesn't apply to your problem anyway,
forget it.

If all is well, upon entry of your site, MV will send
you 2 cookies: one for falcon.safeservers.com and one
for www.domain.com. That way the browser can read back
the session ID for both domains, when you switch between
them.

If you still lose your cart, check out the FAQ on
www.minivend.com under "cart drops when switching to
secure mode" or something like that.

To look at cookies as they come in, use Netscape 4.X and
enable cookie-warning. Works great for me!
