Didnīt you read the minivend.html file? 
Didnīt you visit the minivend archivs?
It seems me, you are in an university ...???

HINT: 
Insert a simple HTML-Line in all html files of the simple demo like

<FONT COLOR="RED">This is comming from the file xyz</FONT>

use the makecat again and visit the simple demo shop again and give me a
big english dictionary! :-))
