[mv] Special characters in search does not work?

Hi!
Can anyone explain me why Mv does not display these categories with this
search. I added with minimate to the product-file a few products with this
category (Päivävoiteet (&auml;) ). The search-engine is MV:s built-in engine
(not Glimpse).

This is the search -link i use (just modified the demo from simple)
