[mv] MV4 Beta2 install problem
****** message to minivend-users from "PUGDOG Enterprises, Inc." <pugdog@ibm.net> ******
This is for MV4 beta2 on Solaris7, 'minivend' is the MySQL user, and
the owner of the files/install/catalog/etc (it's the only catalog
I'll need on a fully dedicated server only I have access to).
Ok, I've tried twice (the first time you figure you did something
while "learning" that screwed it up, so I wiped the directories, and
reinstalled MV4 from the base distribution. Everything progressed
to the same point in running "makecat simple" as the "minivend" user:
I got all the way through the table creation until:
table transactions created: create table transactions ( ....
....
then I got:
simple config error: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at
/www/mvend/lib/Vend/Table/InMemory.pm line 122.
simple: error in configuration. Skipping.
simple: config error. Skipping.
MiniVend server started in INET and UNIX mode(s) (process id 8699)
So, after hitting the exact same thing twice, I figured it's time
to ask for clues :) That error points to a subroutine, that's called
from somewhere else...
The log file shows the table creation, up til that point, and the same
messages as printed to the screen.
Thanks,
Robert
