Re: [mv] First Data Corp Question

You can go through the motions of writing your own software and trying for FDC certification, or you
can license one of the already-certified packages out there (e.g. IC Verify). Yet another option is
to outsource your gateway service.

We are in the process of implementing MiniVend as our shopping cart for a hosting service we are
offering. We have used IC Verify in the past and are now beginning development on an existing open
source credit card processing package to get it certified for some of the more popular
clearinghouses out there. IMO you should have a look around to see if you can possibly find an open
source starting point before you just grab FDC's API and start coding.
