Re: [mv] Aliasing a secure server

****** message to minivend-users from "kyle@invisio.com" <kyle@invisio.com> ******

Pat,

The "Alias" should go in the minivend.cfg file

a generic sample one is:

Catalog simple /home/user/catalogs/simple /cgi-bin/simple /cgi-bin/alias

Modified for yours would be something like:

Catalog store /my/path/catalogs/simple /cgi-bin/store ~mediamob/cgi-bin/store

(Of course the "/my/path" would have to change)

That way when you use:
https://www.securedomain.com/~mediamob/cgi-bin/store

that will call the vlink (store) which will look at the path in the url
(~mediamob/cgi-bin/store) and then it will know it is the catalog
called "store"

Without the "~mediamob/cgi-bin/store" at the end of the Catalog definition,
Minivend does not know which catalog to use so it gives an undefined error.

So edit minivend.cfg and add the " ~mediamob/cgi-bin/store" to the end
of the Catalog definition for your catalog (must be at least 1 space before
adding it)

The simply restart MV and it should work.
